We the members of Computer Society Club (ComSoc), empowered by the divine guidance of the Almighty god, in order to establish an organization that shall promote educational, social, moral, and cultural aspect of life of its members, prior to the mission and vision of this institution.
ARTICLE I- OBJECTIVES AND PRINCIPLES
SECTION I- Objectives of the Club
a.To uplift the theoretical life of every member in regards with computer, that will result into a better individual and student of this institution.
b.To help every members in their studies and lessons through the different activities of this club.
SECTION II- Name and Nature of the Club
ComSoc will be the legal name for this organization. It shall be a nondenominational organization.
ARTICLE II- MEMBERSHIP
SECTION I- Scope of the Members
All students of HCCIT-Surallah, regardless of their enrolled courses who are willingly committed themselves to support the organization shall become a member of Computer Society Club.
SECTION II- Requirements and Contracts
To become a member of ComSoc, you are required to submit the following requirements:
a.Application/Membership Form
b.2 pcs. Of 1x1 ID picture
c.Colored Light-pink T-Shirt
Membership will be valid until the end of the semester. After the due of contracts, they MUST renew for the continuation of their membership.
SECTION III- Duties and Obligations
a.A member is required to sling his/her Membership ID at all times while he/she is within the school premises.
b.Members are expected to show respect to their superiors and to the officials.
c.
d.Every member should respect every authority and obey all lawful orders of co-members, officers, moderators and school officials.
e.Members of the club are required to participate in club activities.
f.Attendance during meetings is a must.
g.Members are required to attend a forum once a month.
h.Members of COMPUTER SOCIETY CLUB must abide by the rules and regulation of the club as well as of the school/institution.
ARTICLE III- OFFICERS
SECTION I- Duties and Obligations
a.Be a true leader and role model to his/her members.
b.Be active the ideals of the school and of the club.
c.Discourage participation and involvement in any prohibited and unlawful activity inside and outside the campus.
d.Be on time on any meetings.
e.Attendance during meetings will be checked by the secretary.
f.Every officer should respect every authority and obey all lawful orders of co-officers, moderators and school officials.
g.The club/treasurer must have a copy of expenses with receipts or cash invoice.
h.Advisers should also be responsible to the officers and members of the club.
i.They must abide by the rules and regulation of the club as well as of the school/institution.
ARTICLE IV- ADMINISTRATION
SECTION I- Meetings and Assemblies
Special meetings may be called by the President or by the Executive Board and shall be called upon the written request of (5, 7, 10) members of the club. The purpose of the meetings shall be stated in the call. Except in cases of emergency, at least three days notice shall be given.
A minimum of five (5) members present at a meeting shall constitute a quorum. (This is based on the assumption that all the officers are present plus at the minimum an additional member.)
SECTION II- Appointing of Officers
1.A member of ComSoc can be appointed as on officer in the following ways:
a.In case of urgent resignation of one of the elected officers.
b.When one of the elected officers was disqualified, due to violations of the rules.
c.Or, when one of the officer, stopped schooling.
2.The member shall be appointed by the club officers and moderators.
ARTICLE V- EFFECTIVITY AND AMMENDMENTS
SECTION I- The consultation shall take effect immediately after its ratification.
SECTION II- The bylaws may be amended at any regular meeting of the club by a two-third (2/3) vote of the members present, provided that the amendment has been submitted in writing at the previous regular meeting.
